Why we do this

Why we do this…

There is a Heart of all that is.
It beats in us.
Once it finds you life is never the same again.
This reality is all around us and yet many of us have forgotten how to see it and taste it and touch it and hear it.

The Heart was incarnate in Jesus the Christ whose Love transforms the world.
Because we are exactly what we have been looking for.

We teach and practice a Path of spiritual cultivation that opens us to deeper and deeper encounter with the Truth of who we are, what Life is, and what Love is. We intend to experience the Truth directly and so we do.

This Presence of Christ/Love makes itself known in myriad ways all around us. The central Way we choose to access this reality is through the practice of Eucharist, communion with the Divine reality through thanksgiving. This the gift that Jesus left his friends. It is much more than a ritual, it is a way of life. All that we do and practice is intended to open us more and more to the Eternal Life of each present moment – the place beyond place and time beyond time in which we discover our own true divinity emerging from our full humanity. And from here everything changes…

We know the world is enchanted and magic is real.
The lead of our blindness and suffering can indeed be transformed into the gold of truth and light.
The Gospel of Christ is the Gospel of Love and the Gospel of Transformation.
The Good News is that the present moment is not fully determined by the past.
Grace falls like rain.
And if we but we open our hearts to its downpour nothing is ever the same again.

We are a community that gathers to dance in this rain.
The Way is ancient,
the Beauty is eternal,
the Life never goes away.
